BETTER VISION FOR MANILA STUDENTS First Metro Investment Corporation, the investment banking arm of the Metrobank Group, donated eyeglasses to 87 public school children of the Jose Rizal Elementary School (JRES) in Tayuman, Tondo, Manila under its Bigay Liwanag Project (BLP) which aims to improve the vision of public school children around the Manila area through donating eyeglasses. Manila mayor Alfredo Lim was present to award the eyeglasses. Now on its second year, the BLP was conceived by Co and is conducted in partnership with doctors from Vista Optical.
